Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the SkillScroll app and website, provided by ChoreScroll, LLC ("we", "us"). By using SkillScroll you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are setting up SkillScroll for a child, you agree on their behalf and are responsible for their use.

Who can use SkillScroll

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account or subscribe. Children may use SkillScroll only through a family set up by a parent or legal guardian who has given consent in the app.

Subscriptions and free trials

• SkillScroll requires a subscription: Solo ($9.99/month or $39.99/year) or Family ($14.99/month or $59.99/year), in U.S. dollars. Prices may vary by country and may change with notice.
• New subscribers may be offered a free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
• Family plans can be shared through Apple Family Sharing.
• Referral rewards, such as an extra free week, are promotional, have no cash value, and may change or end at any time. Abuse of referrals may result in rewards being removed.

Exercise safety

SkillScroll is not medical advice. Physical activity carries a risk of injury. Choose goals that are safe and appropriate for the athlete's age, health, and ability, train in a safe space with enough room, and stop if anything hurts. Parents are responsible for supervising children and choosing safe skills. Consult a doctor before starting a new exercise program. You use SkillScroll at your own risk.

How verification works

Rep counting and verification are automated and may not always be accurate. SkillScroll may occasionally miscount or fail to unlock apps. App locking relies on Apple's Screen Time framework, which is controlled by Apple and may change. SkillScroll is not a guaranteed parental-control or safety tool.

Your content and conduct

You keep ownership of anything you create in SkillScroll, such as clips and custom skills. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the service. You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or that shows anyone other than the athlete without permission; not to share challenge cards or clips in ways that expose a child's personal information; not to interfere with or reverse-engineer the service; and not to use crews or challenges to harass anyone.

Our property

SkillScroll, its logo, design, and software belong to ChoreScroll, LLC. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose while you follow these Terms.

Termination

You can stop using SkillScroll and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

SkillScroll is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChoreScroll, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for injuries arising from physical activity, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for SkillScroll in the 12 months before the claim.

Apple

These Terms are between you and ChoreScroll, LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for SkillScroll or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for claims relating to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use must also comply with Apple's Media Services Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Williamson County or Travis County, Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we'll let you know in the app or on this page. Continuing to use SkillScroll after changes take effect means you accept them.
